Labour Day Celebration in School – Pre-Primary Section

Labour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect by the pre-primary students of our school. The event aimed to instill in young minds the value of hard work and the importance of honoring the contributions of all the workers who help make our daily lives easier.

The little ones came dressed as community helpers — doctors, cleaners, construction workers, teachers, and more — proudly showcasing their roles through a lively fancy dress presentation. They also participated in a special assembly, where simple songs, rhymes, and short skits highlighted the dignity of labour and the need to respect every job, big or small.

To make the celebration more meaningful, the children presented handmade thank-you cards to the school’s support staff, including housekeeping, security, and helpers, expressing gratitude in their own sweet and innocent way.

It was a joyful and heartwarming day that planted the seeds of empathy, gratitude, and respect in the youngest members of our school family.
